Emmy’s 2019: Kristen Bartlett, co-head writer for Full Frontal with Samantha Bee
Kristi worked with California based ethical stylist Kat Eves to create this custom gown for Kristen Bartlett, Emmy’s 2019 nominee. Dress was featured in Vogue, Jezebel, Nylon magazine, among other “best looks” features. Fabric sourced from deadstock material at FabScrap in NYC.

Yvie Oddly’s RPDR Finale Gown
On May 30th, 2019, Denver-based drag queen Yvie Oddly earned the crown on RuPaul’s Drag Race season 11 finale episode on VH1. Yvie worked with Kristi and headpiece designer Darrell Thorne to create her final lip-synch and crowning gown.

Marvel Avengers Collection
Kristi is a featured designer from the recent Marvel Avengers collection released by Hot Topic and Her Universe on March 31, 2019. The collection can be found in Hot Topic stores, as well as online on the Hot Topic site as well as the Her Universe site.

Her Universe Fashion Show at San Diego Comic Con
Kristi won the Audience Choice award for her Aliens inspired look on July 18, 2018 at the Her Universe Fashion Show at the San Diego Comic Con. She will be working with Hot Topic, Her Universe, and Ashley Eckstein on a collection based on the upcoming Avengers movie in the spring of 2019. Design for Disability FIT Women’s Wear Finalist
In May 2017, Kristi created custom looks for three disabled women in the New York community as the Fashion Institute of Technology’s Women’s Wear Finalist for the Design for Disability Gala hosted by the Cerebral Palsy Foundation.
Her Universe Geek Couture Finalist 2017
Kristi was a top 25 finalist in the 2016 Her Universe Geek Couture competition at San Diego Comic Con, and featured a disabled model on the runway to promote diversity in fashion. Her design was inspired by Netflix’s Stranger Things and was featured in the official Her Universe blog, The Mary Sue, Women Write About Comics, among others.
